Isotokpoga Preserve
An excellent example of Florida's ancient sandhill scrub was donated to Green Horizon Land Trust by Mrs. Philip Blacklow of Rockville, Maryland. The four contiguous lots are located in Highlands Park Estates on the southeast shore of Lake Isotokpoga.
A pland survey by botanist Nancy Bissett revealed that the property supported two endangered scrubland species; Sand Lace and Pigeon Wing. In addition, three threatened animal species inhabit the property; Sand Skink, Scrub Lizard and Gopher Tortoise.
